Homeplate is a classic serif display font. The font is designed for use in vintage themes and works particularly well in bar, steakhouse, rodeo and country music themes. The font was originally developed for use in branding in baseball teams. The font is an all capitals font and includes 128 characters.

Roughcast is a kind of outside plaster, composed of cement and pebbles. It’s not the best looking plaster and it is estimated that in the UK, a roughcast outer reduces the value of a house by 5%. I am in the middle of renovating our old farm, but I won’t cover it in roughcast! Roughcast font is actually quite an attractive brush font. I made it with a brush I found hiding underneath my stove (where it had been for a while). I cleaned it and used it to make a couple of fonts, including Roughcast. Roughcast is best used for packaging, book covers and posters.

Years later, I had a chance to rediscover it and came to the conclusion that it could be improved, expanded in a logical and useful way, and introduced. I would be lying if I didn't admit that the rise of webfonts and embedded type in applications influenced many of the decisions I made about reworking Clear Sans™. Completely new Text and Screen fonts were developed that utitlize larger x-heights, space-saving widths, logical (and simplified) weight offerings… to name a few alterations. Simpliciter Sans is a typeface based on the lettering used in the 20th century on technical drawings, either written by free hand or using templates. The lettering was made with a round pen, therefore all lines got rounded ends. All lines had the same thickness in uppercase, lowercase and small caps. The upright style was used on construction drawings and the italic style on machine drawings. The backslant style was used on maps for names of water bodies — seas, lakes, rivers etc. — and for water depth. Simpliciter Sans is primarily intended for texts on drawings, diagrams, charts and maps, but it can also be used for signs and labels. It also works surprisingly well as a body type in smaller sizes.

The starter point of the Wienerin typeface is based on the work of Austrian designer and artist Carl Otto Czeschka who was part of The Wiener Werkstätte, an early twentieth century association of designers, architects, craftsmen, ceramists, jewelers and other graphic arts in his country. This collective of artists was influential for both Bauhaus, art deco and Scandinavian design. Wienerin is a revision and expansion of the Olympia typeface designed almost 100 years ago by Czeschka but adapted for contemporary use with the inclusion of numerous alternative signs and ligatures. Variable font technology allows a greater variety of weights to be achieved. One of the features of the original design was the inclusion of "eifassungen" or modules to create frames. Wienerin presents a repertoire of 500 in 3 weights. With an upward elongated design we have decided to also create a version of the typeface with a larger x-box that allows for a wider use of the typeface family. Cowboy Burt was once a cowboy, but now he's a carnie at who runs the tilt-a -whirl. This hand drawn font was designed for use in a skate-punk layout, but will be quite at home in the old west, the circus, or underground cartoons. Digital Sans Now combines and completes the many diverse requests and requirements by users of the past years. By now, 36 versions for over 70 Latin and Cyrillic languages have become available, including Small Caps. Digital Sans Now is also available as a webfont and reflects, with its simplified and geometric construction and its consciously maintained poster-like forms as well as with its ornamental character, the spirit of the decorative serif-less headline typefaces of the 1970s. Back in 2017, I was working on a cutout font that I originally wanted to call Scissor Madness. In the end, I named it Cut Along and it was quite a popular font for a while. This week I decided to clean up my fonts folder a bit (as I usually have tons of unfinished fonts lurking in there) and I found a file named Scissor Madness. It was the original try-out for Cut Along. It contained a couple of nice glyphs that I never used, so I started playing around with them and after a day, I had a whole new font! So, in short, Scissor Madness was partly cut out by hand, partly computer made, but it is 100% fun to use! Scissor Madness comes with a bunch of very cute discretionary ligatures.

DIN Stencil Pro on Behance. DIN Stencil Pro: Specimen Manual PDF. Despite the fact that over the years several designers have manually created stencil lettering based on DIN for various projects, there had never been a professional digital stencil version of a DIN-based typeface until 2010 when the original DIN Stencil was first released. The Pro version was released in 2014 and adds multiscript support for Cyrillic and Greek. DIN Stencil Pro was based on its original counterpart DIN Text Pro and was particularly designed to address contemporary projects, by incorporating elements and weights which are akin to industries such as fashion, music, video, architecture, sports and communications. Traditionally, stencils have been used extensively for military equipment, goods packaging, transportation, shop signs, seed sacks and prison uniforms. In the old days, stencilled markings of ownership were printed on personal possessions, while stencilled signatures on shirts were typical of 19th century stencilling. Two companies dominated the market in the mid-twentieth century: the Marsh Stencil Machine Company in the United States and the Sächsische Metall Schablonen Fabrik in Germany. Ever since the late 1930s, it was the German Sächsische Metall Schablonen Fabrik which used heavily the new DIN 1451 standard font (introduced in 1936), attempting to overthrow the reign of the Didot-style modern roman which was at the time the most common stencil letter in Germany. These letters were manufactured mainly as individual zinc stencils which could be ordered in sizes between 10 and 100mm. The DIN Stencil family manages to preserve several traditional stencil features, but introduces additional modernities which enhance its pleasing characteristics which make it an ideal choice for a large number of contemporary projects. Furthermore, the spacing attributes of the glyphs were redefined and legibility was improved by revising the shape of the letterforms. The DIN Stencil Pro family is an enhanced version of the popular DIN Stencil. It consists of 8 diverse weights from the elegant Hairline to the muscular Black and supports Latin, Cyrillic, Greek, Eastern European, Turkish and Baltic. The new version 3.0 includes several additions such the recently unicode encoded character of the German uppercase Eszett (ẞ), the Russian currency symbol for Rouble (₽), Ukrainian Hryvnia (₴), Azeri and Kazakh letterforms.
