Basilio Calafati (1800–1878) worked as a magician under the name of Salamucci in the Wiener Prater. Later he obtained the license for a roundabout and other amusement facilities in the Wiener Prater. Calafati typeface family is characterised by little contrast and strong emphasis on the horizontals. It is a robust font that has many applications. Its character shapes are simple and relatively unembellished. With regard to metrics and proportions it combines perfectly with the Wien Pro and the Liebelei Pro. Calafati is available in weights light, regular, medium, bold and black. In 2022, Calafati received a major update. The recent family, Calafati Soft, is an 100% offspring of sharp-edged Original Calafati.

This 1538 Schwabacher was based on a font used by Georg Rhau in Wittemberg (Germany) to print Des Babsts Hercules [...], a German pamphlet against roman catholicism written by Johannes Kymeus. The original font has a relatively complete set of characters including “long s”, but also the special german types like k, fl or ‰, ˆ, ¸.... A few omissions were remedied, and accented letters were added. A render sheet, enclosed with font files, help to identify them on keyboard. It can be used as web-site titles, posters and fliers, editing ancient texts, menus or greeting cards as a very decorative font... Although this font remains clear and easy to read from 8 or 9 points on screen, it is clearly designed for print works.

The Saihat font is inspired by Arabic or Middle Eastern style calligraphy. ATC Harris is a a workhorse monospaced geometric font with a focus on simplicity and legibility. Font contains 580+ glyphs, full alphabet, ligatures, numerals, accents and punctuation. ATC Harris was released in 2016.

Alphabet Agency proudly present Gamebred. Gamebred font is all caps with many alternatives letter characters within. The font also contains numbers, punctuation and international (latin) letters. The original inspiration behind the font is vintage lettering used on tobacco products. The initial inspiration developed into Gamebred that uses more elaborate and unorthodox character styles to real make it uniquely dope.

MeM is an eccentric experimental type system created by Elena Schädel and Jakob Runge in 2012. It produces many personalities, each individual and emotive. You will never know which of the alternating letters is going to occur next. Basically, at the heart of it all is MeM: four different weights and letter shapes melded together into one powerful font and shuffled with the sleek usability of OpenType.

Euroque is the 23rd font family from Cozyfonts Foundry, a California Foundry established in 2012 by designer and typographic illustrator Tom Nikosey Euroque began with pencil sketches, as all my fonts trace their beginnings. Influenced by European poster art of the 1920s and 1930s Euroque takes its name almost literally, European Style. These fonts are designed as a Small Caps Family, where the lower case mirrors the Upper case in design but its weights are compatible and consistent.

Sometimes the simplest ideas yield more than one result. The basic “dot matrix” design of aligned circles that was the basis for Transactive JNL also yielded Zera JNL (connected rings) and Pillow Puff JNL (fluffy and cloud-like lettering). One more design was originally cast aside. A separate file is available for filling in the letters with a colored background, however minute adjustments may be needed due to the fact that each drawing or design software program has its own characteristics and quirks. Gloss Drop is a wild hand lettered typeface, that passed the process of digitization without losing the spontaneous vibrancy of brush lettering. With the power of OpenType it gets real close to what you normally do with ink, brush and paper. Like in real handwriting, some, but not all, letters connect within a word. Automatic OpenType features handle the choice of inital and final forms neighbouring a gap and choose the adequate medial or isolated forms.

Mensura font family has been designed for Graviton Font Foundry by Pablo Balcells in 2012. It is a modular, geometric typeface with subtle rounded angles that provides a soft, pleasent appearence. It has been conceived to be primarily a display typeface, but given its clarity it can also be used for composing short and intermediate length texts. Mensura consists of 8 styles and 4 weights plus italics. Each containing small caps and several alternate characters.

FP Dancer Tango is a humanist-influenced techno-like font, designed 2012-14 by Morten Rostgaard Olsen & Ole Søndergaard. FP Dancer Tango will be a useful tool, helping you to create wonderful headlines and text-columns in magazines and so. The font is surprisingly readable, even in small point sizes. Among other things as a result of the smooth transitions between the angular shapes. In addition, the condensed shapes saves a lot of space.

Koruption is a neo-grotesque typeface family that allows the user to control the amount of distortion in the letters. Thanks to variable axises, this typeface can range from a clean form to a glitched, deformed letter style. To further the effect, these fonts employ further opentype features to alternate the letters, mimicking the real randomness that can arise from distorted letters. With a full character set and some additional symbols and arrows, Koruption aims to be a versatile display solution, for use in headlines or logos, but it’s variable axis can also be employed as a real time animation in videos or digital applications.
