Humanist on one hand, geometric wannabe on the other Born from the need of having a custom font for our own branding, Redonda became too big to keep just for us. Like that, came to light Plau's 10th retail font, the first one designed by Carlos Mignot. The font's personality is a result of a search for extreme impact. Having started out as a exclusively Black geometric face, it became a full, versatile humanist sans. While it maintains the impact that inspired it, it also offers performance for both UI and body copy. This balance reflects the font's creative process: at first it referenced historic examples, but we also made sure it worked as a contemporary face.

“Zouk” is the transformation of the classic blackletter font into the modern world. The blackletter character is very strong and prominent will be the choice for a new style brand. This font consists of 750 glyphs with latin plus diacritics that supports more than 200 languages. We created alternate glyphs in stylistic sets (SS) 01, 02, 03 and 04 for all lowercases including the diacritics. We believe this font style will be a new brand choice that is more prominent and stylish in a classic nostalgic diorama.

Realtime Text Rounded is the proportional alternative to the monospaced Realtime type family. Nevertheless Realtime Text Rounded includes a monospaced design already built into the font. It is employable through OpenType by activating alternate characters. Realtime Text Rounded is a technical yet friendly design with details that serve function and visual impact alike and lends itself to tabular designs, sturdy columns and tidy layouts. Lifeform is a modern display font created as a result of my experiments on the forms of letters. While working on the font, I had ambivalent feelings, on the one hand I liked the individual curved lines, on the other hand they seemed very strange, alien and illogical. It was like looking into a microscope and seeing something strange. I wanted to develop and study these forms as something new, because I had never seen anything similar before. The result is a contrasting font that has both curves and sharp, and smooth lines that resemble some kind of organic matter. The font is well suited for large headlines, posters and covers. Its strange design catches the eye and will not leave the viewer indifferent.

This typeface pays homage to numerous Victorian and Art Nouveau predecessors, while straying somewhat beyond their usual conventions. All lowercase letters ascend in unison, whereas capitals descend below the baseline. A rigid set of uniform strokes keeps the chaos reigned in, while various calculated inconsistencies affect a vaguely hand-drawn quality to this quirky, downright decadent font. Comes packaged with the standard complement of alpha-numeric glyphs, punctuation marks, mathematical symbols, and Western European diacritics.

Introducing Minimalist VONESA – a new nostalgic serif revival that will blow your mind. I've started looking at classic serifs with a narrow 80's & 90's range, and wanted to make the perfect one for you too! VONESA Minimalist is a beautiful nostalgic upper and lower case typography that looks amazing in upper and lower case settings as Display, Logo and body text. One thing to note about VONESA Minimalist is that the letter spacing is intentionally set for clean readability if you want to use it for body types, so I recommend setting the spacing a bit tighter for display use (around -20 to -40 should be!). German-born, veteran graphic designer and calligrapher Mandred Kloppert, has designed everything from book covers and packaging to logos and fonts. In fact, in 1977, one of his poster designs was voted best poster of the year. Challenger, his first digital typeface draws on his more than 40 years of experience as a freelance graphic designer and calligrapher. Challenger is a versatile font and is particularly effective in contexts in which the purpose is to put across a message very directly and assertively, while retaining a dignified style - in advertisement texts, on packaging, invitations and greetings cards and the like. It is dynamic without being overbearing, individual without being quirky.

This font is one of the most used broken letter fonts today. Fette Fraktur is used to invoke a nostalgic or rustic feeling and found often on restaurants with hearty homemade food’ or breweries who use the good old recipes’ of the founder. The font was designed in the 19th century and from the beginning intended as an advertisement typeface. The lower case letters have a gothic character with only the ornamental flourishes making them broken letters, while the capital letters are more characteristic of broken letter typefaces. One could say Fette Fraktur is a true mix of styles, not unusual for typefaces created at the turn of the 19th century.

After the death of Uther Pendragon, long before Arthur was King of the Britons and before Galahad was destined to find the Holy Grail, the mighty sword Excalibur appeared, thrust into a Stone bearing the inscription; “Whosoever Pulleth Out This Sword of this Stone and Anvil, is Rightwise King Born of England!” While no champion worthy of becoming king was able to pull the sword, England was plunged into the Dark Ages... the legend on the stone aged, and became cracked and weathered... much as one might find on your stone tablet, ipad or mobile device. Arthur Baker's display script Sassafras, designed in 1995, is based on the natural inline effect created when writing with a split-metal nibbed pen. Black and white are nicely balanced, giving this calligraphic face a remarkably smooth appearance. The regular and italic versions of Sassafras include two alternate faces: one with long, tall ascenders and regular-length descenders, and one with shortened ascenders and descenders that allow it to fit where its companion might not. In both, the ascenders increase in width as they move upward, while the descenders taper to a fine point. This variety of form makes Sassafras a very flexible choice for display work.

Justine, while a playful, swirly, girly font is a complete font with the full character set. It was inspired by the handwriting of Justine Childs.

Frantic Pace JNL is based on hand lettering found on the lid of a late 1950s or early 1960s edition of the Print Craft alphabet printing set once manufactured by the Superior Marking Equipment Company of Chicago. The free-form spurred serif lettering is fun and casual; giving the impression of movement or action.

Based on a vintage set of kitchen labels, Jams and Jellies JNL is a font containing 52 of the most common names for jams, jellies and preserves as well as a blank label for creating your own flavor choices. Note: While this font may be used in many commercial advertising applications, any manufacture for retail sale of a complete set (or portion thereof) of these labels requires a special license from the font's author.

Alleghieri was developed from several different examples of late Renaissance lettering. While it is based on a style which is clearly intended for quick, easy writing, we've preserved many of the unusual character forms and elaborations to give it a lot of personality. The result is stylish and unique, with a real feel of the Renaissance, but great readability as well. The full version includes a large selection of variant character forms and special characters.

A revival of sorts, Freaky Frog BF is modeled after an 1887 design from Central Type Foundry, called Grimaldi. Much warmth and charm have been instilled into the original design through among other means, reworked contours and serifs. Contours are smoothened, liberated from its roughness, while serifs have become somewhat concave. Verticals and horizontals appear to "swell" owed in part to flared shapes. The overall effect, I believe, is one of pure typographic endearment.

Alaca typeface was designed, based on its octagonal form, as contemporary, dynamic and modern font family. While designing Alaca typeface each glyph was given a form to link with other glyphs. As such, the harmony between the letters was carried to an advanced level. Alaca font family consists of 6 weights and italics matching those weights. It can be used typographically as a logo, title and text font up to certain sizes.

Armetica is an ultra condensed sans serif typeface with a unique personality. It comes in normal and display versions, with 9 weights, as well as italics totaling 18 fonts. Armetica is a modern elegant typeface that would be perfect for branding, logos, headlines or captions. The font could also work as a stylish text overlay on any background image you like, minimalist and warm while still being versatile enough to use anywhere!

The hand lettered title on the sheet music for "Gee, But I'd Like to Make You Happy" (from the 1930 MGM motion picture "Good News") presented a conundrum. Some of the lettering was a classic Art Deco "thick and thin" design while the others resembled comic book title lettering. Leaning toward the comic book style, the conflicting letters were revised and the finished result became Funny Business JNL; available in both regular and oblique versions.

Pop Flowers is set of 64 cute graphic flower illustrations derived from Kapitza's graphic pattern font Pop. Pop Flowers marks a new direction in Kapitza's exploration of shapes in nature. While their projects such as Blossomy and We Love Nature Leaves are based on photographs of plants and flowers, Pop Flowers is constructed of graphic shapes. In moving away from 'realistic' forms, Pop Flowers creates a reality of its own that evokes a magical atmosphere.

Nevoa is a typeface inspired by the vernacular calligraphy from the streets of Brazil. While walking in the streets of some small towns, I felt so inspired by those rounded letters painted on the walls. That is what inspired Nevoa. Nevoa is a soft and smooth serif typeface, with dynamic curves. It is available in Condensed, Semi Condensed, Regular, Semi Extended and Extended to adapt to various uses, such as visual identity, magazine, branding, ...

Lodgepole is a hand illustrated font family created by Zach Minard of Tall Trees Design Co. Inspired by timeless legibility and worn National Park signage. Lodgepole Regular and Book are designed to pair perfectly together, while both of these styles are available as Solid (With no internal texture) or Grit. Lodgepole Grit uses the strokes from the original pen-to-paper illustration for all texture, creating an authentic one-of-a-kind texture.

Fabriga speaks a familiar language in a distinctive voice. Ideas around clarity and tone informed all emblematic decisions. Fabriga’s structure and warmth are influenced by how its character set is approached as an ensemble while exploring individual ‘creative’ opportunities as they pose themselves throughout the process. Fabriga sets out to take a supportive role as a font family, understanding that one of its great strengths is its diversity in application and composition.

Muffin is a soft and rounded humanistic low-contrast sans serif based on broad nib writing. It comes in five weights ranging from Regular to Black. The friendly character of the font becomes even more pronounced in the darkest styles. Muffin is well suited for food packaging, menus, children's products, while Regular may be easily used for long runs of text. The font was designed by Natalia Vasilyeva and released by Paratype in 2017.

Prepare to be entranced by the unparalleled allure of Grivas, a serif display font that redefines typographic elegance. The typeface was baptized as "Caldense" in order to honor the city of Caldas da Rainha, a small city in Portugal, the typography's birth place. It has three weights, Regular, Demi Bold and Bold and it is a sans serif and grotesque. Each character was based on a grid and was built in modules, having round edges and straight finishes. The font can be used in titles and normal text while being easy to read.

I am not sure exactly how to classify these geometrical ornaments. They resemble the arabesque ornamentation of medieval Islamic art, but also have similarities to Celtic knots and to some Chinese and Korean ornamentation. The bolder of the two only works well at very large point sizes, while the thinner is designed for use at smaller point sizes. There are usually similar ornaments on the same characters of the two, but not always.
