The BD Roylac typeface has its roots in some lowercase glyphs drawn by Jacques Loison in 1972. Some of these characters are included in the use of stylistic alternates. Filed under a retro-futuristic design the font separates two filled shapes by a thin and curvy line; sometimes following to the path leaning readability and sometimes interfere with it. The font is dedicated to the BD fanboy Monsieur «Eric de Broche des Combes» aka «Roy La Combe» to his fiftieth anniversary.

This version retains all of the original's warmth and charm, while updating it to twenty-first century standards. Hasan Ghada is an Arabic display typeface. It is useful for titles and graphic projects. The font is based on the simple lines of Modern Kufi calligraphy with new ideas for square shapes and geometric feel. It supports Arabic, Persian and Urdu. This font was designed in 2002 and the first version was released under name KactTitle in the typefaces group of King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST), which supported the Linux operation system. In 2007, I developed this font and created five weights of it.

Destructive Decisions is a font based upon the inherent flaws of human nature—presented under the guise of complete legibility. At first impression this font is very readable, but upon closer examination you'll notice the edges are fuzzy and some of the lines are off-kilter. You can read it, but it is also a bit foggy. No matter how hard it strives for perfection. This font was originally designed for a cable tv show about substance abuse, but is now available for use in your web and print designs, too.

Versatile egg-shaped Huevo, like all Burghal Design fonts, includes upper and lower case letters, as well as numbers, symbols, punctuation, and accented foreign characters. The inspiration for this font made its first appearance in the 1897 American Type Founders specimen book, under the name "Lithotint". As the name suggests, the original was tinted gray (diagonal lines formed the body); this version is solid and spooky, too. The font contains a few ghostly graphics, including ghosts at the bracket positions, a haunted house at the backslash position, and a scary backdrop at the ASCII tilde and ASCII circumflex positions. I created this font by redrawing the alphabet in which the Death Space alien language is written.

Central Type Foundry of St. Louis issued this quirky little gem under the name of Quaint Roman around the turn of the twentieth century. This version is a little less gnarly than the original, but retains all of its eccentric charm.

Bohy was a candidate when it was felt there was a need for a "house font" to start a design service. Its readability can be relied on to clearly display the most creative or obscured names, yet the adherence to a chosen system of construction to achieve this consistency also make the Bohy characters stubbornly distinguishable from most other font sets if you were to group it under geometric, or technical typeface, or some other categories it should belong (it is considered more constructivist, not humanist, etc...).

American Type Founders released the pattern for this typeface under the name "Thermotype". In the days of cast-metal foundry type, copyfitting headlines could prove problemmatic at times; this typeface, with a wide uppercase and narrower lowercase of exactly the same “color”, allowed stacked lines of type to be composed with uniform width. Clean, crisp and practical. Both versions of the font include 1252 Latin, 1250 CE (with localization for Romanian and Moldovan).

Wedding Text was designed by Morris Fuller Benton in 1901 for American Type Founders (ATF). The face was so popular that its forms soon began appearing with other font foundries under different names, Elite Kanzlei with D. Stempel AG, Comtesse with C.F. Rühl, Linotext with Linotype, etc. Its ornamental forms are not considered very legible by today's standards; therefore it should be used for headlines and short texts in point sizes 12 or larger.

This unusual Gothic face was found in the 1882 McKellar, Smiths and Jordan specimen book under the name Borussian, a then-current variant of “Prussian”. This version is true to the original, so please note: a few of the uppercase characters—notably E and G—are rather unusual, so proceed with caution. All versions of this font include the Unicode 1250 Central European character set in addition to the standard Unicode 1252 Latin set.

The original Carbon is a popular face at T26. It was released in 2003 under influence of modern typewriter and OCR typeface. Carbon Plus, a re-work version, was commissioned by local communication technology firm and is now available for commercial release. This revised version was designed with more sensible letter forms in order to add some human touch to the face. The initial release of this font also known as Carbon C6.

Prana Pro is a modern, young and fresh slab serif created by Christoph Ulherr during his studies with Prof. Gertrud Nolte at the faculty of design of the Hochschule Würzburg under the direction of Volker Schnebel, URW's type director. Prana Pro is an excellent headline and display font while, at the same time, very well readable at small sizes. It can be used for any kind of publication including posters and book covers.
