Deco Template JNL is a font made from the inline portion of Stationer JNL, which itself was based on the hand lettered 1938 sheet music title for the official Coast Guard Marching Song "Semper Paratus" "(Always Ready)". Resembling a drafting template with a square, modular look, this type design is available in both regular and oblique versions.

Based on electrical circuitry, David Philpott's Circles typefaces are oddly legible, even though one might think they were destined for display usage only. The circle is the base form, repeated throughout the design. The Logansport, Indiana Pharos-Observer dated June 12, 1917 had the following headline running across its front page: “American Steamer Sunk by German U Boat”. The condensed slab serif typeface used to set that headline has been recreated digitally as Newspaper Publisher JNL, and is available in both regular and oblique versions.

Kaleidoxope is my hand-drawn headline font. However, I traced the font digitally to make it look more smooth - but still kept the handmade look. Occidental Tourist JNL is based on a set of die-cut cardboard letters used by teachers. They were primarily found on classroom bulletin boards or felt boards. The font's name is a pun on the movie The Accidental Tourist.

The script font “Jefferson” is based on real handwriting of Thomas Jefferson. Luckily there is a draft of original text of the Declaration of Independence written by Jefferson available . It was used as a primary source for this font. The Jefferson font was developed by Gennady Fridman for ParaType in 2005. It is in OpenType format with a contextual substitution of letterforms and specific ligatures.

Sign Template JNL is based on one of the many plastic lettering guides manufactured by the now-defunct Wright-Regan Instrument Company (also known as WRICO). Aside from their engineering and drafting templates and tools, WRICO had a line of "Sign-Maker" sets which featured various styles of lettering, special ink pens and metal alignment guides to assure clean, crisp lettering with little effort.

This script font was inspired by a lot of autographs, notes and drafts, written by President Abraham Lincoln, mainly the Gettysburg address, first draft and copies, but also the emancipation proclamation. It is an attempt to offer a typical manual script from this American period, not to propose the exact writing from A. Lincoln himself. This font is a little fat and monotone, maybe Abraham Lincoln used a smooth or rounded pen, but some letters I have consulted were written obviously with a sharp one, so, in the future, I will certainly produce a slim version of this font. It is used as variously as web-site titles, posters and fliers design or greeting cards, all various sorts of presentations, menus, certificates, letters. This font supports enlargement as well as small size, though the original size was about 18 to 24 pts. When printed, it remain perfectly legible from 10 to 12 pts.

Made in La Chaux-de-Fonds (Switzerland), Hyper Schlag is born while the designer drinks a beer with friends. One of his fellow beverage partner wears a sweatshirt written in embroidery. The text is quite clumsy, at least this is what he saw. This is how the most spontaneous font ever designed by Bisou is born. Hyper Schlag is thought from ground up to give a strong feeling of friendliness. Clumsy, naive, playful, this handwriting font is best suitable slogans of sweet revolution. Like our first "1871 Dreamer Script" this script font was inspired from a lot of manuscripts, notes and drafts, written by the famous american poet Walt Whitman.
