The capital letters are detailed silhouettes of cycles while the lowercase are simplified versions for smaller uses.

Jeff Levine took Crown Heights JNL [named after his childhood neighborhood in Brooklyn, NY] and gave it a make-over; transforming it into a Western-style all-caps display face called Homesteader JNL. The point of interest being the rounded characters: C, G, O and Q - usually not as geometric in Old West typography.

A 1970s Photolettering catalog indentified the pattern for this typeface as "Exotique" ...from France, no less. Named for a French expression meaning “pun,” this face is, indeed, witty and playful, with nary a groan in sight. Both versions of this font include the complete Unicode 1252 Latin and Unicode 1250 Central European character sets.

Despite its macabre-sounding name, Headstone Roman JNL is not a novelty font for Halloween or horror movies. Instead, it's an attractive Roman typeface based on an example provided of a guide for stonecutters to use when cutting epitaphs into tombstones. An old Art Nouveau typeface named "Daphne" provided the inspiration for this decidely different font. This version is upright, but the linocut treatment employed visually suggests the slight rightward slant of the original typeface. Bold, unusual and distinctive. One name originating from Canada greatly inspired the birth of this vintage font. A gothic blackletter font named after the Parler master builder family which built the Schwaebisch Gmuend cathedral. This font contains a bunch of useful ligatures, and by typing 'N', 'o' and period plus activating the Ordinals feature you get an oldstyle numbersign. In this blackletter font the # key is occupied by the 'round' s.

The name Grape Feud is obviously a wordplay, and is derived of the, sometimes, mistaken of the orange and the (often) purple fruits. But Grape Feud is also a playful and charming no-nonsense comic style font. The x-height is quite unpredictable, and I've added ligature for the most common double letter combinations.

The name says it all. Gothic from the old literary style and/or current subculture genre. And Gothic meaning a block or sans serif style of lettering. An image found online of the first [1923] “Oreo Sandwich” package provided a type inspiration from the pen-lettered block sans with rounded corners used for the product's name. Prior to 1923, the cookies were sold in boxes or tins. The result is Packaged Cookies JNL, which is available in both regular and oblique versions.

The 1885 specimen book of the Palmer and Rey Type Foundry of San Francisco featured the inspiration for this typeface under the name Courier. This version has been thoughtfully designed to use Contextual Alternates to avoid unsightly swash collisions. Both versions of this font include the complete Latin 1252 and Central European 1250 character sets.

The letters of ShirlyUJest have serifs that have gone wild, crossing over themselves, giving them the look of overgrown vegetation. It is weird and bizarre and out of control; the name says it all. It is caps-only with the lower-case keys containing the glyphs identical to those on the upper-case keys.

Hoy is a decorative font whose name derives from one of the Orkney Islands. Inspired by the wonderful encounter between the Celtic and Norse cultures in this specific geographic location, the font has adapted some of the features of the Insular half-uncial. It is playful and relaxed, and easily recognizable by its roundness.

Thirsty Cream is my handmade and slightly curly font. I had birthday greeting cards, invitations and products for kids. But I guess that it is useful for a good handful of other things. While the lowercase has it's curly moments, the UPPERCASE is quite steady and super legible

The life of Molière is a story of struggle, hard work, domestic unhappiness, death and burial in obscurity and almost in shame. Molière left behind a body of work that not only changed the face of French classical comedy, but has also come to influence the work of other dramatists from around the world. Despite his own preference for tragedy, which he had tried to further with the Illustre Théâtre, Molière became famous for his farces, which were generally in one act and performed after the tragedy. Both the comic and the serious drama were powerfully affected by the work of Molière, not only in his own age and country but everywhere and up to the present time. Didot is a name given to a group of typefaces named after the famous French printing and type producing family. The classification is known as modern, or Didone. The typeface we know today was based on a collection of related types developed in the period 1784–1811. Firmin Didot cut the letters, and cast them as type in Paris. Along with Giambattista Bodoni of Italy, Firmin Didot is credited with establishing the use of the "Modern" classification of typefaces. The types that Didot used are characterized by extreme contrast in thick strokes and thin strokes, by the use of hairline serifs and by the vertical stress of the letters. As in the extreme contrasts of the literature of Molière, in Didione's typefaces, thick and thin strokes, straight and curved, are the most relevant characteristic for an era marked by the changes.

Not your average monospaced typeface, Base Mono flourishes with several handsome OT features mostly found exclusively in text fonts. Force is a contemporary sans serif ultra-black family designed by Ricardo Esteves.
