The theme of Perkly came from trying to envision a font that was easy to read yet had a distinctly unique look. Another neat feature of Perkly is that all its weights have the same overall spacing, meaning different weights can be layered over each other, allowing a lot of versatility.

Zampichi simulates an old school video game or halftone print. Nine futuristic styles are delivered in gritty pixelated format. Years ago, I came across a vintage playbill and was struck by its lettering. The detailed floral pattern surrounded by thick outlines stayed in my mind even though the play's name and cast have faded. I finally tried to recreate the style from memory and Forgotten Playbill is the result. While all letters are actually capitals, the uppercase rotate slightly counterclockwise and the lowercase slightly clockwise. I suggest alternating between the two to reproduce my mystery inspiration.

A clean, symmetrical and modern typeface. The font (previously named "Heimat Grotesk") was developed by Florian Klauer for display and body copy application. What stands out about this font is it's large x-height and constant line-weight. Nearly all letters bend with a continuous unfaltering style, giving the impression all letters are cast from the same mold. Vector is inspired by the 1979 Atari Asteroids video game UI screen font, yet it has been completely reworked to achieve a more balanced and refined visual aesthetic, loosely adhering to the original source. Letterform widths, angles, metrics and kerning are thorougly tweaked throughout in an effort to recreate a modern classic anew and extend it's functionality. Stylistically, Vector accurately reflects it's name, exuding a uniform sense of flatness and rectangular geometry defined by it's retro-modernist origins.

The other day, a couple of kids at work (I work as a kindergarten teacher!) played this game where they were detectives. Not the usual detective, but someone who worked for cookies and biscuits! They called themselves The Biscuit Kids, and I knew instantly that I had to make a font with that name! My Biscuit Kids font is a playful comic book font, but also suitable for anything that needs a fresh extra spicy attention!

GeometricoSlab. Round with strong serifs. Should it express power? Geometric and Slabserifs: a relatively rare combination.
