Inspired by an old matchbook which read: "Chop Suey: Finest Chinese and American Cooking". Chop Chop recreates that matchbook printed feel with soft rounded edges on what one would normally expect to be a sharp and pointy typeface. The typeface has two versions of each capital form, one in the capitals and one in the lowercase positions. The Contextual Alternates feature auto-magically swaps every other character with the alternative version allowing you to easily type you message, while creating a little diversity as well.

Karl Georg Hoefer’s Sho first appeared in 1992 with Linotype-Hell. The font is a part of the package Calligraphy for Print, which also contains Ruling Script and Wiesbaden Swing. Calligraphy for Print 2 completes the set. These packages offer modern calligraphy fonts particularly well-suited to use in posters, magazines and advertisements. Sho distinguishes itself in the extreme contrast between the strokes. A unique characteristic of the font is the way it uses simple round forms in some of its letters, giving it a peppy and playful feel.

A 1930s WPA (Works Progress Administration) poster promoting national parks depicts Native Americans overlooking the land with the tag line "his hunting ground of yesterday". The hand lettering of that text is reminiscent of Futura Black and similar Art Deco stencil-influenced type designs, but is rendered in an oblique lower case with no capitals. Re-drawn as Sandwich Shop JNL, the typeface is now available in both regular (vertical) and oblique versions.

Vintage New York neon signage alongside the landmark Dubrow's Cafeteria [probably circa the 1940s] of the words "retail shop" inspired the namesake digital type design. Retail Shop JNL is a bold and somewhat eccentric Art Deco font with varying widths and unusual character forms available in both regular and oblique versions.

The cover of the vintage sheet music for "This Little Piggie Went to Market" (from the 1934 film "Eight Girls in a Boat") features a hand-lettered sans serif with intermittent chamfered angles. This became the model for Shopping Basket JNL.

An image of the wide, Art Deco influenced lettering of a sign over a coffee bar inside a Jacksonville, Florida Lovett’s Supermarket (a predecessor to Winn-Dixie) inspired the namesake font Coffee Bar JNL – available in both regular and oblique versions.

I don’t have a sweet tooth myself, but I do like toffee! One of my favourite desserts is English Sticky Toffee Pudding, so I really had to name a font after this delicacy. Sticky Toffee is a bold display font. It’s all caps (in case you might have missed that), but upper and lower case differ and can be used together to create a more ‘natural’ look. Sticky Toffee comes in two great styles: Regular and Sprinkles, and has all the diacritics you’ll need.

Toffee is based on Art Noveau typeface Regina Cursive.

Toffee Display is a sans serif project inspired on Gill sans, Helvetica and Eurotstile italics. This project is designed for food packaging, candies, commercial, and fast food. Sticky Shoes was inspired by a sign at a local flea market. The artist behind the sign obviously didn’t care much about painting the letters “in the right way” - leaving a slobby and uneven impression. And what is wrong with that? Nothing, if you ask me. I tried my best to capture the charm and innocence behind that sign in Sticky Shoes. I even made the paint version go outside the outline in the Regular version! I added 6 different versions of each letter, and they automatically changes as you type. That goes for all 4 versions, and they even mix very nicely!
