Main Street is a revival of the old font Soutache, the original version of this decorative alphabet was created in 1873 by Julius Herriet, a type designer active during the period marked by the Western expansion. Main Street with its split serifs and ornate scrollwork reflects the romantic splendor of the old west from fancy garb and Cowboy Saddles to Ice Cream Parlors and painted window signage. Stencil Round Ends, is just that, a stencil typeface with rounded terminations to each line rather than the squared terminations found in your typical stencil font. This design was developed while designing a typeface for engraving. The end mill tools used to engrave a font are round, thus the lines will all end with a rounded edge. While designing the engraving font I also designed this font to make sure that the single line version will have the desired aesthetic. Unlike many stencil fonts that have a limited range of glyphs I made this to contain the majority of letters, accents, ligatures, and mathematic symbols commonly used in most latin based languages.

Bay Tavern is the first weathered version of our Tavern font that's based on Algerian. With three weights, open faced and outline versions to choose from you're sure to find the right style for your new project, restaurant menu, logo, t-shirt design or Pirate costume party. While our original Tavern font has been increased to include five weights additional weights for Bay Tavern will have to wait for now, adding the notched cut in's were all done by hand which causes a lot of cramping so a long break is needed before creating the extra weights. Hickory is the revival of an old unnamed font dating back to 1852 and was sold through a few different type foundries including Bruce, MacKellar Smiths & Jordan and James Conner's Sons. By the year 1900 this font disappeared from the major type foundries, now with the digital age of type we're proud to revive this old classic font that hasn't been used in over one hundred years. The original font was only available as an uppercase with punctuation and an ampersand. Today the character set has been updated to include a new lowercase, numbers and accented characters for Eastern, Central and Western European countries. Three fill fonts have been created for the Hickory font making it easier for you to add different colors, textures and patterns to the letters. You will need an application that works in layers such as Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator in order to use the fill fonts, some fill fonts may look good as a stand alone font, the Hickory fill fonts however do not look good used apart from the Hickory main font. I hope you enjoy this old font as much as I did making it.

This font is for gamers, game titles, for science fiction books and movies. Like hexagons fill and take space, in this font we attempted to employ hexagonal spatial typography. Sometimes it requires more rapid stroke direction change than in traditional typography. The same for Starfighter and for space quests – the competition and adventure will often require quick and sudden change of direction to succeed and survive. Have fun!

Mercado is a versatile stencil font family with 3 styles and 3 weights of each style. I was inspired by local boutique supermarkets to create a stencil font family with both upper and lowercase as well as a large international characterset. Mercado Regular can be used at small point sizes without the stencil gaps filling in. It also makes a bold statement when used large. Mercado Display with it's precision slices is best used large, or in any design solution where the tight gaps will not become filled in. Mercado Sans is a quirky and strong sans serif based on the bones of the stencil version.

Fantastic ML is an exuberant Art Nouveau font. It was originally released as “Modern Style” by Fonderie G. Peignot & Fils, Paris, France sometime before 1903. Since “Le style moderne” was the generic French name for Art Nouveau, it is possible that someone decided a less generic name was needed. The typeface became known as Fantastic. Compared to conventional text letters, it is just that. Fantastic has a whimsical, architectural feel. The typeface reminds me of a cross between Hoffmann’s Palais Stoclet in Brussels and Gaudi’s Sagrada Familia church in Barcelona. The letterforms themselves are similar to those by Ludwig von Zumbusch on the cover of “Jugend” in March, 1896, but with the addition of serifs. Fantastic ML is a decorative, all-cap font intended for display use and functions best at 18 points or larger. There are a total of 306 glyphs. In addition to the standard 1252 Western Europe Code Page with character slots up to decimal position 255, there are glyphs for the 1250 Central Europe, the 1252 Turkish and the 1257 Baltic Code Pages. However, some older applications may only be able to access the Western Europe character set (1252). The zip package includes two versions of the font at no extra charge. There is an OTF version which is in Open PS format and a TTF version which is in Open TT format. Use whichever works best for your applications.

Since the release of Wood Bonnet Grotesque No.4 the font became popular for packaging and adverts. But the font styles were limited to one worn and one clean font in a medium weight only. My kids asked me what killed the dinosaurs. I told them it probably was a meteor strike off the coast of Yucatán in Mexico. So, when I made this font, that little talk about the meteor hitting earth came to mind and a font name was born! Meteor strike is a slightly slanted brush font. It was made with my Chinese ink and a cheap brush (like most of my brush fonts). Meteor Strike comes with an attitude and a cheeky grin. It will sure leave a lasting impact on your designs!

A tessellation is a shape that can be used to completely fill the plane—simple examples are isosceles triangles, squares, and hexagons. Tessellation patterns are eye-catching and visually appealing, which is the reason that they have long been popular in a variety of decorative situations, such as quilting. Most of the shapes in TessieSpinners suggest a spinning motion. Most do not resemble real world objects. The TessieSpinners fonts contain shapes that can be used to construct tessellation patterns. Schlaich and her fellows would even set in type at 6 points, in order to make it nearly unreadable. It was a pleasure for the kids to read and decrypt these messages! F2F Styletti Medium is one of 41 Face2Face fonts included in the Take Type 5 collection from Linotype GmbH."

Linotype Mega is part of the Take Type Library, chosen from the entries of the Linotype-sponsored International Digital Type Design Contests of 1994 and 1997. The fun schrift of German designer Till F. Teenck is available in three weights whose names are word plays in themselves. Mega in (which we hope the font will be) contains relatively light, somewhat irregularly-drawn characters which look as though they were printed by hand and the characters are set rather far apart from each other. This weight is good for short and middle length texts in point sizes of 10 and larger. Mega normal is anything but. The characters are the outline forms of Mega in and their larger width reduces the distance between them. This weight is generally a headline font. Mega out is a very heavy weight and is the filled-in version of Mega normal. The characters flow into each other and look almost like silhouettes. The reduced legibility makes this font suitable exclusively for headlines in larger point sizes.

Capitolium was designed in 1998 at the request of the Agenzia romana per la preparatione del Giubileo for the Jubilee of the Roman Catholic Church in 2000. This type design was the central part of the project for a wayfinding and information system to guide pilgrims and tourists through Rome. Capitolium also continues Rome’s almost uninterrupted two-thousand-year-old tradition of public lettering . It is a modern typeface for the twenty-first century and strongly related to the traditions of Rome. Soon after the completion of this project Unger began contemplating the possibility of bringing the atmosphere of this design to newspapers. Though Capitolium works well in most modern production processes and also on screens, it is too fragile for newsprint. For newspapers sturdier shapes were required as well as more characters to a line of text, and Capitolium News has a bigger x-height than Capitolium. Capitolium News is a thoroughly modern newsface, with classic letterforms linked to a strong tradition. Capitolium News for running text comes in the variations regular, italic, semibold, semibold italic, bold and bold italic. As is possible with most of Unger’s type designs, Capitolium News can be condensed and expanded without any harm to the letterforms.
