TapedUp, Tinkerer, and Rumpled are based on the template I used for several letterbat fonts—fonts made of wrenches and bolts, hammers, or paper clips. TapedUp can be thought of as a font made from masking tape, and Rumpled is the same design but the tape pieces are wavy. Tinkerer is the same design but with elements that resemble what might happen if one constructed letters from Tinker Toys. All are caps only, but some of the shapes on the lower-case keys differ from the corresponding shapes on the upper-case keys. The Rumpled family has four members, the regular, an oblique, a shadowed, and an oblique shadowed.

Insomniac is a tall, narrow, handwritten typeface. A little rough, a little shaky, a little uneven. The idea for this font came to me in the middle of the night - hence the name. Insomnia is an all caps font, but upper and lower case differ and glyphs can be freely interchanged. Comes with a diacritics dream team.

Hokitika is a township in the West Coast Region of New Zealand's South Island. It has some amazing beaches, stunning scenery, but above all, it has Pounamu (greenstone or jade). This is THE place to buy a beautiful Maori greenstone pendant. Don't buy it for yourself, as it is supposed to bring bad luck. Hokitika font is a tall and thin all caps Art Deco typeface. Byronic is soft modern sans-serif but with an antique style lower-case. The rounded end soft look gives Byronic a friendly soft look whilst still retaining a classical typographic appearance. A very clean style and slightly condensed it is excellent for text setting and headline with an unusual loser case that compliments the caps perfectly. This is a display version of the Bergsland Pro serif font family called Bergsland Engravers Pro. The stroke is highly modulated. The width is very wide. This an attempt at a fully useful black serif display font. It has many OpenType features and 474 characters: Caps, lower case, small caps, old style figures, numerators, denominators, accented characters, ligatures, alternative forms, and so on.

This is a perfect font for historical or fantasy titles. It is influenced by ancient Nordic runes. the strokes flare slightly, to a concave terminal for a finely carved appearance. There are two sets of capitals in PR-Vanaheim-DC (Dual Capitals); one set of narrow letters, more closely related to Runic forms, and one set which includes wider and circular letters, which can be freely combined with the narrow letters for the variety associated with hand lettering. There is one version with dots placed in the centre of large counters and one version without the dots. The broad caps character set includes characters which allow for tight spacing; a dropped L, and a tall T. There are also two different lowercase sets, one modern, and one archaic, all of which can be freely mixed to fine tune the appearance of your text. When you think of Zealand, you’ll probably think of NEW Zealand. But did you know that New Zealand was named after the Dutch province of Zeeland (meaning Sea-land)? And did you know that there are many sealands in the world? Denmark has Sjælland and there is even a micronation called Sealand off the coast of England. Zealand font is a handmade, all caps display font. I used a Japanese brush pen for the outlines and the fill. It has a nice textured look, making it ideal for book covers and product packaging.

Inspired by an example of eroded Portuguese cast-iron ecclesiastical lettering mounted on marble, Apocrypha has been designed to evoke an age-worn imperfection; once elegant, but now eroded and distorted by time. Mix the characters in the upper and lower-case keystrokes for authentically uneven results.

The term "transcribed" takes on many definitions. In sheet music (the source of this type face design) it means to set down onto paper. In the formative days of radio, and until the advent of the tape recorder, radio stations depended on 16 inch wide recordable discs known as transcriptions. These discs were generally aluminum base with a soft lacquer coating that was cut with a heated stylus. This was the only way a program could be recorded and preserved for later broadcast or copied for syndication. Transcribed JNL is a hand lettered sans in the chamfer style of block lettering, based on vintage sheet music displaying the name and address for Zenith Music Publications.

Some words from the designer... West coast artist Teri Kahan developed a "design font" of 68 pictographs capturing the sentiments of relationship, connection and synchronicity. Many of the characters were created with phrases in mind like, "handing you the world on a platter", "howling at the moon", and "message in a bottle". Others represent life experiences. The clean, simple illustration style originates from the look of hand-carved rubber stamps, and lends itself beautifully to logos and graphics.
