Arventa was designed to be highly legible and flexible. Arventa offers a high quality alternative to contemporary humanist sans serifs and is a flexible family for editorials and corporate branding. County Clerk JNL was modeled after the vintage Hamilton wood type design Gothic Special, and is available in both regular and oblique versions. An early grotesk font, this condensed sans serif lends itself well to short headlines and brief body copy.

From the great Schelter & Giesecke collection, Dante Alighieri is a splendid companion to Aldo Manuzio. With its rather condensed characters it makes an ideal body text font even for narrow columns. This typeface has been influenced by the ongoing traffic congestion in Melbourne, and its lack of functional and reliable public transport as a possible solution. The Gadabuursi alphabet, also known as the Borama alphabet Borama is an alphabetic script for the Somali language. It was devised around 1933 by Sheikh Abdurahman Sheikh Nuur of the Gadabuursi clan. Though not as widely known as Osmanya, the other major orthography for transcribing Somali, Borama has produced a notable body of literature mainly consisting of qasidas.

This unique type treatment was born after working in a mixture between a pixel based font and a retro logo. ITC Typados is the joint effort of Roselyne and Michel Besnard and is composed of characters in two different senses of the word. First, it is of course made of letters and symbols, clean and legible with generous widths and x-heights. There is a hint of Art Nouveau style in the tapering, brush-like strokes. But the figures of ITC Typados are also made of characters in the theatrical sense: little tear-drop heads on tapering bodies that bend themselves into the shapes of an alphabet while maintaining a life of their own. The typeface is based on a recurring character in Michel's sculpture and painting, Ado. Ado is the first character who sings and repeats itself in all my creations," says Michel. Arkit is a ‘constructivist’ sans with a humanistic taste. Its geometric look hides an organic soul that can be felt rather than seen, as for instance in the strokes that are slightly tapered. Arkit features a big x-height and is suitable for signage and for many display applications, but it also performs well as a book face both in body copy and in captions and small-size texts.

Fitzronald is a body text typeface with a strong personality combined with a good legibility in small sizes. It is an excellent book typeface, but it can be used in e.g. advertising and packaging as well. Due to its good legibility at low resolution, it is a superb website and e-book typeface. Fitzronald is based on Ronaldson, an American typeface originally cut by MacKellar, Smiths & Jordan in 1884.
