I am trying to find a standard/easier way of getting approval for using "Freeware" fonts commercially. Some fonts don't have contact info, some are limited to a company name that I can't find on google, and others have no info at all or are "anauthored". Help. Is there a better way? - Getting Commercial Approval for "Freeware Fonts"

One of the fonts I was looking at here instructs you to view the Copyright page for copyright information.
I cannot find a copyright page on this site.
Is there any easy way to tell what fonts available here are usable for Commercial purposes?
((Before you ask.. no, I cannot afford to buy fonts... I am making T-shirt designs as a Stay at home Mom, trying to build an income... Since February, I finally have made enough sales to have $40 commision build up in my online account. :)
That commision will be going to upgrading my store from free, and the leftover (if any) will go to baby formula (or maybe a graphics CD so I can stop drawing my own... at least as often.)) - Copyright?

Commercial, commercial, commercial. No, no, no. Not fair on Alex. No. If you want Genetica you should either buy it or look for it yourself. Grrr.

Good job, Luke, but Bradley Hand seems to be a commercial font and it is ILLEGAL to offer it by sharing. Thank you very much. - re: Help to ID this font

Hi,
I'm one of the editors of a student paper, and our next edition is devoted to a comprehensive satirizing of girls/guys magazines. We want to imitate them perfectly, down to the fonts they use, and here is where the problem lies. We, as a non-profit, lowly funded paper, cannot afford to purchase the well-known commercial fonts they use. I was hoping you might know of free fonts which resemble these commercial fonts - we would be reaaallly grateful. The commercial fonts are: Minion, Glypha (this is the most important one), Falstaff, Kaufmann, Script, Inflex, Stencil and Wendy. Any assistance would be much appreciated.
Thanks, - Student paper needs help finding fonts similar to commercial

The ones you find in any of the categories are free for personal/non profit use. If you do a search two result windows are shown, commercial and ones found on Abstractfonts. The commercial fonts window has a hide/show option. Click hide and only the Abstractfonts freebees are shown. - re: Searching freeware fonts
